I grabbed my camera, ran right outside and called out to the driver "NICE CAR!"

i actually got to see the real one or atleast one of last year on a business trip to IN. I went indy to see the track (what I could get to) and went in the sovenier shop/museum onsite and low and behold outside was "the" pace car out of the private collection sitting next to the building behind a rope. They had a flood in the basement and the car was pulled from it's hiding place while the got the mess cleaned up. The caretaker watching the car said it hadnt seen the light of day in a long time

Maybe he said it was his uncle's, sister's, husband's, son's, cousin's, fiancee's car?

I'm not sure he really knows.....he also said it had a V-6.
