I just dont see why he has been defended so much. Anyone else w/ that kind of track record that he has had w/ the team would have been gone along time ago

I don't know how anybody could defend him. I mean all teams seem to have bad times at one time or another you know, the Red Wings had thiers and the Tiger's had theirs, but it seems to be a permanent condition for the Lions. Since the AFC and NFC came together they only have one fricking playoff win, one... :bang: Since they've been under him they went from bad to worse. To think, we used to laugh at Tampa Bay in this town... :nonono:

Hey the Patriots were once the laughing stock of the NFL as well w/ their 1-15 record. Point being the entire organization turned it around, w/ the Lions its just a virus that is spreading w/ no apparent cure anywhere in site.

Dey are a 1st round knock out in the playoffs. Still the same old bungles, wait and see.

Maybe...maybe.....and we can't change the past, but I still firmly believe we could have taken the Steelers last year had Palmer not gotten hurt. We hung in there pretty good with Kitna at the wheel. We still lost, but we should have been creamed by a Super Bowl Team with us playing a 2nd string QB that had been sitting on the bench for awhile.

I can't wait to see the Bengals/Colts game. Colts are a great team too, but they can't seem to keep it together when they need to in the playoffs.

Thats why I threw in the 4-7 record b/c it takes alot more then just the QB sucking to have a dismal record like that. I would go as far as saying he sucks this yr

The line sucks, causing the runnign game to simply go away. When that happens, I dont care who you are, when EVERYONE knows there is a pass coming, you are going to have more picks than normal.
