Its a great time, im lucky enough to not have to travel to it. Each year it gets better, and each year we seem to have an infamous departing wreck...

I advise anyone within a reasonable distance to take the trip down to Myrtle Beach and see this.

Yeah Vegas would be a big trip. I think the farthest away I heard (doesnt mean that was the farthest) was like Minnesota or somewhere around there.

is this a big event. I have always wanted to go to a mustang show but i dont know alot around here (nebraska). I wouldnt mind making a trip of it but, i would like to know if it is worth the drive or is a more of a local (just surrounding states) type of thing. If anybody knows of any mustang shows here in the midwest please let me know, pm me

Its a pretty big event, I think there were right around or just over a thousand cars last year.

Seriously though, its just part of having a high powered car around a huge group of people. Everyone wants to show off and one person always ends up biting off more than they can chew and wrecks.

burningrubber, since you are a local would you be willing to help me find a good house to rent for the week? i can look online but i need a house that has a flat driveway to get my car in and out of. i stayed at north MB last year and it was WAY too far tio drive. not to mention that parking my car in a hotel lot was a NIGHTMARE!

The only mustang show i know of in the midwest is the ford nationals at gateway international raceway in st.louis. I heard its pretty big but its not only mustang, it has alot of dif. fords involved.

Glad you were able to find a place, even if it wasnt in the heart of MB.

I think (as far as I know, not 110% sure) there will be a cruise like there was last year... it was huge...

DO IT!!! hell i'll even let you crash at my place down there. you cant beat a free house for the week. i would love to have centri, twin screw, and turbo stangs parked in front of the house.

^That would be sick . Bug jeeze thats just much too far for me...I thought 950 miles to modularpowerhouse was rediculously far. So much so that I dread the drive up there to even get it tuned .

i'm serious, you need to come up! it may be a 20 hr drive but you get a week at the beach for free! i have a house that sleeps 7-9 and i have 6 staying with me so i have extra room. i just hope you arent a serial killer
