Guess i should have clarified some more information. I currently own a 1990 gmc sierra. It has a 6 inch lift and 35's, and when i REALLY baby it i am still unable to get 11.5 mpg. My two options are either a toyota 4runner or a mustang. With the 4runner i will only get around 18 if im lucky, and with a stang i was hoping that i could get a minimum of 20 or so. My brother has a 96 mystic cobra and gets 22-25 consistantly. I will be living on campus, but probably work a couple days a week in my hometown (about 30 miles away). I will just make this drive probably 3 or 4 times a week, and may stay at my house some on the weekends to keep from driving back and forth. My budget is short, so whatever i get out of my gmc is about what i want to spend on another vehicle. I can get a nice mustang for 5-6 grand, plus get better mileage than a 4 runner. One reason i like stangs is that the parts are cheap if something does mess up, unlike toyotas. So, 20mpg sounds awesome to me, and is almost double what i have been getting. Please keep posting, thanks a lot.
