i have been looking at a few Z06s...
I dunno though...i think i would cry if i sold my Cobra after the amount of blood, sweat and tears we ALL have into my car

oooh z06, about the only thing i see worthy of trading in a cobra for. anyone driven one? make sure you take off the goodies. my cobra is basically stock. i need to give her an upgrade. she wont stop whining about it. i havent even got a jlt under the hood. i know. weak.

My aunt had one that she sold last year. It was a 2004 Zo6 that she let me drive a few times, but I never really had a good chance to hammer on it. I could tell that there was an animal under the hood waiting to be unleashed though...

I drove an 02 a few years ago....those cars are no joke!!!!
Fred raced a Blue z06 one night and he had his hands full!!! Prolly didn't help that i was in the pass seat yelling GET IT DOGGIE GET IT!!!!
haha. yeah im sure they are quick cars. quick question for you guys. well im pretty broke. will be getting a jlt intake soon. currently contemplating cutting my springs to lower her a little. what do you guys think about cutting the stockers? i dont want to drop it a ton, just lose the 4x4 stance.

Chris- I saw adam on the way out the door and told him I had a friend at work whos dad got an 06 GT and was looking at getting S/C for it, can you check out the prices of kits for the 06 GT's. The KB Vortechs Paxton who ever makes one for the 06. I told him you guys can prob get it at a decent price compared to other vendors.

I know quite a few people over on SVTP and Modfords have done this, but I agree with DoubleO, save a little cash and get a good set of springs.

If I had an '05+GT, I would go with either the KB 2.6H, or an HP turbo kit.
thanks for the info. ive read tons and tons of material regarding the issue with springs. i guess thats why ive yet to do it no matter how many positive experiences i read about. im def going to wait and go with the H&R race springs with isos.
as far as the 05+ gt, there is a good video on svtperformance of a 05+ gt with a kb.
