JLT CAI & IAT Sensor - Wire too short?

As the title says, I purchased a JLT CAI for my 97GT last fall, and was pleased with the installation, instructions, etc.

My one question is that the instructions indicated that I had to drill a hole for the IAT sensor, but upon inspection, the pipe already had the IAT hole drilled. So i swapped in the sensor from my old tube.

My problem is that the wiring harness for the IAT isn't long enough to reach ther sensor - it's probably short by about an inch or so.

Anyone else experience this?

I realize I can tap the wire and extend it, but thought I'd check before going to the trouble if anyone else had come across this.

Cheers SN'ers :nice:
