Anyone know where to get valve covers for a 2V GT?

These are like virtually non-existent. I don't like the BBK ones which are the only ones I could find. I just don't like the BBK logo.

I dislike those BBKs for the same reason - their HUGE logo has to be on every part they sell.

The shop I go to has some really nice ones made for the shop with their logo on it but that's in NC...

I did a quick search and not much came up so good luck! It sucks when you try to find something to make the car look nicer but can't find anything you like.

What kills me is that Ford has a ton of great looking 5.0 covers, but NONE for the 2v 4.6.

Certainly Ford could have managed ONE in the nearly ten years' worth of 4.6s in Mustangs...

What's worse is that FRPP offers nice powdercoated ones for the 3V too, and none for us.

I went with the Team Breed and they are quality parts...well made and use an oem gasket so no leaking issues like BBK.

Simply a by-product of being fabbed sheetmetal. Obviously these are not cast...hard to make em look like they AREN'T homemade when essentially they are.
You won't go wrong with either brand...good stuff!

Couldn't you just take a set of stock valve covers and powdercoat them? I think that would look pretty good personally. No?

I went through this. eBay is the only place to look. Ford wants 120 a piece for stock ones. I got a set of covers off a Crown Vic. Majority of all Crown Vics have the left side oil fill so sought after by Bullitt intake swappers and some s/c set ups. I paid $70 for both. One of my stock plastic ones cracked. It split open. Don't know why. They are cheap plastic, but I painted mine silver, then painted red in-between the ridges up top. Then I clear coated them. They looked cool until install time, then they got beat to $hit. Installing valve covers on these cars is like a five hour job the first time, and about an hour or two the next. It took me all Saturday. And I still have a leak, so I got to redo one side. The drivers side is pretty tight fit, and I had to remove some cam cap bolts to slide the cover over. The passenger side is a bit easier, but the harness isn't as flexible over there. I don't know how the hell you'd fit those BBK ones on without jacking the motor up, or removing the hydroboost and hoses on the passenger side firewall.

I'd keep the stock ones. Unlike the 4Vs, you can barely see the 2Vs covered with wires and hoses anyways..

Thanks for the insight. I thought about picking up a used OEM set of covers and painting em like you did, but I worried about the install. Sounds like you've lived my worries and saved me the aggravation.

I can't imagine going through that hassle with valve covers unless you were doing a cam swap. It was enough of a PITA with the intake manifold off...I wouldn't dream of doing anything with them unless I HAD to. Plus like laser said, you can barely see them on the 2v's.

I see your point. Valve covers can hardly be seen on a 2V GT. It'd be sweet if I had a Mach 1 engine in my car. I like their valve covers.
