How does my clutch and Flywheel look?

Well I took everything out of the car since I am replacing my bellhousing, and I think the clutch and flywheel look OK to me, but I don't have too much experience on how this stuff should look.
So here is the flywheel. There are some shallow groves in it down the center.

Here is the flywheel side of the clutch disk

Let me know how it looks. It has been used on the car for about 7 months last summer with a couple of trips to the dragstrip.
Thanks

This looks like a crack to me, and I agree that the insert looks pretty rough with all the hot spots. Also, the shot of the clutch disc shows that the material has smeared. It looks like it got really hot a few times.

It really does look like a crack in the picture. After I got home I checked it out, and it is just a spot where some clutch dust has collected where the Pressure plate is bolted on. I took the flywheel to get looked at, and it is not warped. I think I am just going to get a new center section for the flywheel, and a new clutch disk.

Good to know kck6894. Did you just put it back in then, or did you do something to it? And if you put it back in, how did it hold up after that point?

Thanks.

I put a new one in every year. I've used the spec clutches for 2 years and finally switched it this year. Any time I used one for more than a year about 2 months into the second race season they would start slipping. If your pressure plate looks nice and it's heat checked it will probably be fine. Put a new friction plate on the flywheel and use it. I've pulled mine apart after some limited use and it looked similar to yours. I put the new friction plate on the flywheel and used it for a while and didn't have any problems with it.

if i was that far into it I'd prolly just replace it. Stupid to ave to tear it down again if you have to do it if somethign bad happens to it. But I don't know **** about that kinda stuff so I don't know whats good and what ain't
