I believe he's making the right decision here. I mean why should he have to pay upwards of 70mil. for 51% ownership in the family Co.? His stepmoms always been a bitch. He's called her bluff and not only taking Bud. with him but also Martin Truex Jr. Good luck Teresa trying to recruit new drivers for a sinkin ship...Now lets hope he can join RCR or Hendricks and put a 3 on his Bud Car!

Jr's doing the right thing,and what the hell good is a brand name like DEI if you don't have the guy to go with the logo.

Jr. said today he'd love to drive the #3 but wanted to get more wins under his belt before making that decision.

I think the fans would go nuts if he ran his dads number.If anyone has that right it's Jr.

He also said he knows the fans would be upset at him leaving DEI,but it's a decision he has to make. Hell I'd leave too.

It's gonna be interesting to see how this pans out.

agreed. Even though I've fallen away from Nascar - Jr. leaving DEI might just bring me back to watching once he signs with RCR.

I'd like to see him in the number 3 as well... but only him
