i am a crappy pic taker lol
and my car doesnt compare to alot of cars on here but i try to keep it clean and take care of it.

i am hoping to do the body work and get it all straight and repaint the car, i have a cool cowl hood i want to paint up and put back on the car.

i also have been taking some video footage of my car, i am getting the necessary cable to upload it to my computer this week, i will get those up asap so you guys can finally see and hear my car in action!

and yes i know i need new headlights lol

i took it to the carwash and blasted it some. and vacuumed the interior. its been a while since i have really took some time and detailed the car. it could cleaner but i think the camera and lighting doesnt help. the car looks better IRL that it does in the pics

as for times, i took it to the strip last night and didnt get any good runs, i made two passes and it started raining so we couldnt race anymore and got rain checks to come back.

but its a different deal now that it was. more power off the line and i think my tires were getting worn out.

1st pass had a 1.9 60' and ran 13.20 @105, would have been a 12 sec pass with a better launch it just doesnt leave the line right, almost felt like it was spinning or something

2nd pass ran a little better on the big end but it started raining past the 8th mile i let out of it about 80foot before the finish line ran a 13.4 @97 that pass had a 2.0 60'

i just didnt get a good chance to get used to the SC and get dialed in. plus it was pretty hot and humid out so that didnt help

i know it has alot more in it, it runs like a scalded ape on the street. didnt get to get to power down and go at the track. i think i am getting a little taller tire, maybe a hoosier quicktime pro or another set of ET streets. i'll step up to 27 inches tall. to get more of a wrinkle and bite. i know it has at least 12.50s in it. i need to launch higher, i only left last night at 4k i think, it needs more RPM it feels like but it also has that spinning feeling so i am confused lol

i have vids of the passes on my camera, the car really squats hard off the line it looks good but it doesnt feel like its getting off the line very good. i think my current tires are just old and worn out, i did a SMOKEY burnout and never got them to start grabbing the track. the moisture in the air and tirepressure along with track prep may have caused some of that though.

take out the seats, take them to a car wash and power wash them, then let them sit in the sun to dry out.

as for the motor... anything else done to it besides the super charger and intake? just curious after looking at your numbers adn your time..

it had thumper heads and b-cam and bolt ons etc. i ran 13.30s before the SC.

the SC helped alot and runs ALOT faster. but it just wasnt a good track day. i know it has mid 12s in it, it didnt get to go 100%. i need to get a better launch and find the best shift points etc.

i think its been running rich a little lately. i turned FP down to around 35 at idle and line plugged and it seemed to run a little better.

but i was expecting an easy 12 sec pass even with a bad launch. doesnt make sense because down low it PULLS HARD, it could be losing it up top. i am still running 19 lbers with the SC and all my mods. it may be losing some fuel up top.

i may get some 42 lbers and ditch the FMU. will i run into bad driveability problems with 42 lbers and no tune? i plan to tune it just needing to know if it will run ok until i get there.

the car doesnt even compare to what it used to be. it used to be a gutless pig compared to now and it ran 13.30s easy

It will never run anywhere near its potential power, or driveability without a tune. Lose the FMU and just get that thing tuned, for serious. It will be a whole new animal.

I run 30lbers with no tune and didnt notice a difference in idle going from 19's. It takes time to get a new setup dialed in, my first hci pass was like a 13.6 lol.

ahhh...makes me reminisce about my 87 t top gt...same exact condition, only difference (aside from blower ) was i had LX tail lights and pony wheels. and my bumper wasn't cracked but HOLY SH:T you should see the one i got now!
