I thought about putting this in tech, but i know there are a lot of write-ups places for both of these, but I am a very detail oriented guy and need A LOT of details. So here she goes...

I am installing a 3g from a 94 in my 93 and find write ups and a lot have little different tidbits of info. So I am wondering if someone can give me a write up with EXACTLY what to do, INCH by INCH. I am terrible with electrics so I need help. The only problem is that I know something about an extra 4gauge ground wire or something and want to do that, so please help me with including that.

At the same time I am installing a mark Vii fan, which is all prefit into the stock fan housing, just needs to be hooked up. Until I decide on the DC controller, temp sensor, whatever, is there a way someone can tell me how to hardwire the fan to a switch, so I can turn it on and off?

Thanks a lot guys and sorry for the novel.:hail2:

That fan can pull a start-up draw of over 100 amps. Use a HD relay (75 amp plus) at a minimum. Dont try to put all that power through any sort of switch in the interior.

A controller is the way to go if you drive the car more than once a month.

Monte Smith has info about installing the fan (and a 3G) on his site. JRichker also has outstanding references and tech notes on each installation.

Good luck.
