Boost/Vac Gauge readings on a KB 9# kit

I had Cobalt gauges installed with my KB 2.1L 9psi kit, including a Boost/Vac gauge. Last night, under WOT, it read 15-20 psi of boost (2 runs... 1 @ 20psi, the other @ ~16psi). Anyone know why it would do this?

When I first got it, I think it read 9psi consistently (i don't stare at the gauge or anything, but when I did look it looked like 9). Though a few days ago I saw what looked more like 10 or 11 psi.

Also, what are normal readings for vacuum?

It's an Auto Meter gauge.

I have had 3 boost gauges from autometer now and they are cobalts as well , I think the gauges screw up over time , maybe overheating from the lights inside ? , I can exchange mine under warranty of course and it will fix it for a few months and then it starts acting stupid again ......dont know what the cause is .........

I have the Autometer Phantom II boost gauge and it crapped out on me also. But mine wouldnt read anything at all and i only had it about 3 months. I replaced it with the same except a boost/vaccum type. Hopefully this one lasts a while, and i hope this isnt an indication of autometer quality.
