Any dyno days coming up?

^^^ Not really, as long as they are not openly advertising to sell products or services. A shop putting together a dyno day, that they don't personally make the money from is no big deal. BTW Where are you at? I have seen a yellow S197 with black stripes around here quite a bit lately.

The only thing I can think is that they might be able to pull this one out...

Straight from the new post up top that was stickied...

But nothing he ever "plans" ever happens. :rlaugh:

:nice: I know all about that. Maybe someone else should contact John and see what his schedule is.

So, if I owned a shop, which I don't. I wanted to get a bunch of people together, customers, and non-customers of my shop, I couldn't openly advertise that I had put a dyno day together? Even though I am in no way advertising my shop, or making any proceeds from it. Unless I am a sponsor of this site? If I remeber correctly this person wasn't banned for advertising, banned due to ''personal attacks '' on another member.

Who else wants to dyno? I'll call or e-mail John, get prices, dates available, and how many cars we can run through in a day.

See thats just it I don't know. There are alot of rules that don't get followed, then others seem to be strictly enforced when they are least expected. Clearly a case by case scenario... but I am lost as to why...

banning someone for posting a dyno day doesnt make sense. how many times on this site do you see someone ask "where can i get tuned?" then 50 people post there favorite shop? unless there is a local(northwest) paying sponsor also putting on a dyno day why would it matter? nobody got banned when we posted about the KAS dyno day right?
-So when, where and how much is the dyno day? these are too few and far between.

Just heard back from John. He is all for it. $60 for 2-3 pulls with wideband. Can do up to 20 cars, he would prefer 10-15 cars.Sounds like he would like to have a minimum of 10. This still allows some extra time incase someone needs to tweak a little inbetween pulls.

Let's go for a saturday. Nov 10th or 17th? Both are Saturdays.
