Sweet pics Worden.
Trying to upload the video from my camera to the computer with a video creator I bought. Not having any luck right now. Will have to find some time later to figure it out. Wish some of the camera work was steadier but thats what happens with no tripod.

will they fit?

No. :(

The nitto's fit but barely. When I saw how much bigger these were, I had a feeling. I just need to flip the quad shocks, but 10 years of living on the water has kinda rusted the bolts all together. OH, well, good excuse to get some new shocks and quads in the rear for now.

Trav, not gonna make it this weekend, definitely next wednesday or nest weekend. I forgot I have to get ready for a halloween party this weekend. Plus, I think it's import wars on sat. and by the time I could make it down on friday it'd be real late and no cool off for the engine after a 3-4 hr. drive. BUT I WILL GO BEFORE THE MONTH IS OVER!!!!! And I will get into the 11's or break something trying.

OK, just tried again after letting the PBLASTER soak in, and then looked closely. THE FN BOLT IS SPOT WELDED!!! I tell ya, nothing like owning a 1st year production SVT car. Everything from the "no oil cooler shaft o-ring on any manual ever" to the "plastic gas tank" to the "welded in shock bolt".

What a PITA larry. I pretty much figured mine would fit since they are only 275's adn Im running 315's on the back anyway. Im not sure about friday either depends on when its going to rain. Saturday morning is out it looks crappy. I'll keep an eye on the weather tomrrow and if it holds off long enough I'll go down for a few runs after 6:00 but leave in time to get home before it rains if its close.

Larry, I say just cut them off and leave them off. As far as the tires go you can't always go by what is printed on the sidewall. You need to look at the rest of the info from the manufacturer. This changes with diff. manufacturers even though they print the same size on the sidewall ie. 315/50R17. You can look up overall diameter, width and recommended rim size. That info could help you figure out if you are getting a bigger tire footprint or if they will fit at all.

On another note I was fooling around when leaving work the other day and started heading towards a guard rail then sliding sideways into the other lane. I pooped my pants. Thought I was going to clip the guard rail or at least spin into a 180. Damn traction sucks. Luckily I recovered and no one was coming the other way.

High HP + Street tires= :notnice:

Do you have 5 lugs on that?

Im not going to the track tonight either. Its to crappy out.

.

No, I know, and I knew the nitto's ran smaller, I was just frustrated w/ another "simple" fix (flipping the quad) complicated by an unforseeable Ford snag.
Anyways, I pounded in the tube and I'm good to go. Figured if I broke it, no biggie at this point.

hopefully it doesn't cause any binding.

No, it's fine.

But get this. I had to pick up my mom from the SNF today to bring her home (she fell again a few weeks ago) and had to drop off P's costume at the X's. So's I get up, gat on the boat, drop off costume. Other errands, breakfast etc. Still have a coupe hours to kill before she's discharged. Time for a little romp on the backroads and some foliage views. End up in pittston/ whitefield. Stop at a store, come out and start the engine. zzzrrrring. WTF? pop the hood, belt is F'N shredded. Great, east bum****, ME, and I actually have to be somewhere in an hour. No payphones, and I don't have a cell, as they don't work out here. The lady working is really nice though, and lets me use her personal calling card. Tow truck shows up about 2 hours later, "I took a wrong turn", but he's a good guy and it's a flatbed, so no worrying aout the rearend bumping off. He let's me use his cell, but only an answering machine at the SNF.

EH, I'm tired of typing, long story short, tensioner pulley fubar, rented a minivan after expensive tow, listened to GM guys for a sec, picked up mom late, finally got home and left keys to house in car. Busted window, got in, called sis, searched for right parts. Posted here.

Short story shorter, a few people were genuinely friendly and helpful today.
