I have a 90 Coupe that is going to be a strip car. I want to add glass doors and wanted to know if anyone knows who makes them and if the quality on any of them is better than another?

USBODY and Harwood both make them. The guy that's going to paint it for me said he saw a pair of Harwoods that did not fit very well. Has anyone else heard about this with Harwood? Everything I have heard about Harwood is that they make good stuff. Does anyone have any experience with the stuff from US Body?

Thanks

I've never seen any that truely fit perfect, but for that cost of 320 and 114 for the hinge kit per door, put the money into performance instead, people run in the 9's and 8's with foxbodys with stock doors

Yeah you will have to run the plexiglass windows and not be able to put them down. Atleast thats how my buddies setup was. It sounded cool at the time but after the fact the setup got old quick.

well the USBody doors will use stock hardware and are cheaper. The $114 for the harwood is a set of 4 hinges so you only have to buy one set.

I have the entire drivetrail already built. I'm just after the lightest chassis I can build to put it in. I understand non of the glass will fit perfect I'm just wondering who builds the higher quality stuff that will take the least amount of work.

I think I'll pull one of my stock doors and weigh it after it's gutted and see what the difference is between stock steel and glass.

Right. The car will get all lexan to replace the glass and since it's a strip only car I'm not worried about the windows rolling up or down.
