neither one of us know that.. but since kid has this years thread named after him because the colts won it.. If the pats win it me and redline are the two pats fans here and I am a staffer so I think it will be cheesy if my name is on it.

I went and checked the moderator log and it shows a title change by timeless2 on nov 4th???
The way it started was out of the regular posters in the football thread, usually me, Kid and Black who's ever team did better that person got to start next seasons thread, it was never named after who made it until this year. It got kinda messed up after a certain someone tried to start another NFL thread (even after kid already started his). Either way all is right and there is just one official NFL thread

Today the Giants went into Detroit and handed the Lions their 1st home loss of the year.
Eli had a good game and so did Jacobs and Strahan.
The Giants D made 2 terrific INTs at the end of the game to stop Kitna's air attack. James Butler had a game saving pick in the endzone to stop a long bomb.
The Giants are now 7-3 and that's a pretty good record in today's NFL.

They won and it was tough. Very difficult to win against a decent Lions team on the road and beat the refs too, but they did it.
Some sports writers are calling Tuck's BS "roughing the passer", the worst call of the season. The Toomer mugging in front of the ref where he tossed a flag and then picked it up is a close second. The Kitna fumble magically called an incomplete pass (arm not moving when hit) was just priceless.

Yea I was watching that game it was definately some horse **** they were trying to sell with that roughing the passer call. They must be blind as hell. At least the good guys were able to pull out a win and move on to next week.

If you think about it, the Lions have done excellent this year. Big improvments over the same old crappy team. If they continue to improve they can go from good this year to very good next. (But not with Kitna.)
