My buddies turbo setup - PIX

MAF is mounted downstream of the turbo? Meaning that it is metering the compressed/boosted air?? I thought they had to be mounted downstream, monitoring the amount of air being drawn in, like in a typical supercharger setup.

why put it so low? Are they trying to hide it or something? I wouldn't put it there.

Well its low, and its fast as hell, so accept it. The tech inspection at NE Dragway barely noticed the kit if it wasnt for the brightly colored RFL BOV. This is a turbo time kit and it WORKS trust me Ive been in the passenger seat on the highway breaking loose at 60 it isnt as fun as you might think.

No tune , full interior + street tires the car went low 12s with absolutly no traction and near breaking free near the end of 1/4. He could have easilly tuned it in, swapped out susp- and went with slicks. That would get him in the low 11s. He has since added a mighty might that has a man valve body + 3500 stall conv which brings his car to full boost all the way down the track . My buddy is into other projects and most likely be selling his car as is. Should fetch a pretty penny since its a well built car that just needs a tune and some final tweaking
