You'll max out the focus pump. So probably 400-460-ish. That will be your weakest link, add more full, some water/meth or an a/a or a/w intercooler and you'll see upwards of 500 pretty easily.

He'll need that nitrous to break 500 with no ic and stock heads and cams. Cams really wake these motors up.

so dual cobra pumps and tank would easily get me to the 500 mark?

with your bap and the cobra pumps/tank it should support 500

how about the stock fuel rails... when should they be upgraded?

Mine are still stock.

what is the benifit of the cobra tank?

It has no bucket like the gt so it can never be sucked dry like the a GT with a big single pump. You can bust the gt bucket out. Which you have to do in order for the cobra pumps to fit. But the problem there is unlike the cobra tank which has baffles to keep the full around the pumps the GT tank doesn't. So once you get around a 1/4 of a tank or less you run the chance of running lean especially around turns because all the fuel moves away from the pumps.

thanks 4 your help jive, but what do you think the limits are on the focus pump... do you think im running a big chance on sticking with the focus? also, tell me about what it takes to reclock the vortech for a fmic.

No problem.

You loosen the allen bolts on the volute aka snail, then just turn it and retighten. It's really pretty easy. Just be gentle.

Focus pump will be getting close to maxing. A Ford GT pump would do it for pretty cheap. But then I would worry about sucking the bucket dry. Which of course you could try drilling holes in the gt's Bucket to help it stay full. But after that I would never go wot under a 1/4 of a tank. Plus there is some wiring mods that need done with Ford GT pump, it's not exactly plug and play, but will fit in your stock bucket.
