Sorry dude, I really don't like poking at people, but WTF is too cold?? Doesn't a cooler engine make more power? I'veresearched this and people who KNOW, try not to run their car as cold as reasonable, preferably between 110*-120* at the track. A dyno pull will tell you exactly what temp to run.
Isn't cold better when it comes to running an engine? I will agree that it will run richer but it will allow a more 'aggressive' tune. It will allow more fuel and colder temperature which translates to more power. The optimum for longevity and performance is 180* but the optimum for performance without suffering too much from longevity is 160*. A 160* will give you more performance but you will lose a couple of MPGs. IMO, run it and get all you can from your car. I've talked about this with an expert so I know this is accurate, JOEL5.0.
