EGR block off plate?

Yes that is true. I was gonna use one but removed the whole egr assembly. I bought a plug from ebay that plugs into the connector so the computer thinks that the egr is still there. I then cut off the ear where egr mounted to for clearence and tapped the hole on the intake where the egr was mounted and plugged it.

Does anyone sell them? I think I have heard that a fuel pump block off from a 351C will work is this true?

It will, used one on Andy's build about a month ago.

Here it is: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=MRG-1517&autoview=sku

I traced it onto some gasket paper and made my own gasket.

You will lose gas mileage by deleting it. It will also have to be turned off in the PCM or the EGR system tricked into thinking it is there.

That being said, it is one less thing to deal with and cleans things up under the hood.

you can use a penny to plug up the header hole. just cut the pipe off the factory nut, put a penny in there and tighten it down.

I'm going to be running ford racing gt40p headers so there aint a hole for it. The egr is already deleted out of my tune but I still have on there just havent taken it out yet. Hope to do my head swap within the next couple of weeks.
