I was driving my 93 home today and the vents stopped blowing air. I thought maybe a vacuum hose might have come loose, but there is no air coming out of anywhere and all the hoses are still attached? Is the blower motor toast? what do i need to check first? If it is bad how much of a PITA is it to replace???

Did you check every speed? Blower motor resistors are a common break, if the resistor fails the blower will only work on high. So try the high setting and see if you get anything...if it works on high, then it's the resistor.

If not, first check fuses, then use a multimeter on the blower to see if you are getting power to it. If you are, then the blower motor is dead...if no power, start checking wires.

doesnt work on any speed. going to suck not having defrost in the morning to defog my windows.
where is the blower motor anyway? I am not even sure where it is. do I have to take the dash apart to find it?

think you can just take a 12v test light to the Fuse in the panel for the motor if hte test light goes on then its the motor

if not...

as stated start checking wires

i have to do this my self and itd be great if somone could back my post up or correct it
