I'm in the market for buying an intake for my 01GT. I'm N/A with full bolt ons, ported heads and cams...I'm looking for results and opinions with either of the intakes, performance gains, etc on a N/A car. When I spoke with Trick Flow they said around 25rwhp with my mods. Anyone have personal experience with either?

Thanks

harballer all the way. u will not see gains worth the price IMO for an n/a car. to feel gains u would need something along the likes of a p51.

what the hardballer offers is a bulletproof intake for nitrous setups.

what most ppl dont realize is the stock PI intake flows extremely well, thats why u dont see much difference in #'s. the only reason to upgrade would be if ur running a healthy shot of giggle gas, or your intake cracks and u need a new one.

See and I heard completely different from trick flow about their intake on a N/A car with ported heads and cams...they said 20-25whp is very likely

im sure you will see more gains vs a non ported h/c car.. but i doubt ull see more than 15RWHP.

hell, with h/c/i on a 2v GT your only looking at ~40-60hp putting you at around 320's with full boltons. of course all this is relative to the specs of ur mods; just an example.

i have tf intake, i bought it cuz my stock intake cracked and caused a blown head gasket. i had heads- cams put in at the same time and the guy who did the dyno said i would of been better off with the pi intake, cuz i lost some hp. something about gettin to much air... and once i get a blower then i will see better results.

I have the TF and it does exactly what I bought it for. It makes power across the band with a boost above 4000rpms. I have stock heads and cams and I am running 7.8 in the 1/8 when I was running 8.6 before. Also installed elec wp, megabite jr lower control arms and sniper tuned at the same time as the TF.

How is the belt routed with an electric water pump?
