Hood Pins?

Where can I buy some good quality hood pins? I cant seem to find them online...thanx guys.

just be careful, i got the "quality" stainless steel FRPP ones and they started rusting a month later

imo the nicest hood pins that will last for years because there stainless steal, are the old mopar ones, these same ones have been on my dads car for about 4 years, and still look new.

I have seen them installed on quite a few cars now. They look really good. You can paint them as well. I have been recommending these since they have been shown to me about 3.5 years or more ago.

crap i have the frpp ones. i thought they were stainless steel how the heck do they rust? i didnt put them in yet. which ones did you replace them with after they rusted.

mine havent rusted that bad, its just minor surface rust that i can sand down...its mainly just the pins

I have had 2 different kinds of hood pins. The Mr. Gasket ones and the Ford Racing. They both rusted after about a month, also the cable that hang down will scratch your paint from rubbing back and forth when you are driving.

I have seen 08' Shelby GT's sitting on the dealers lot with rusted hood pins.

I got so sick of dealing with it and I got a Cobra R hood.

IMO if you haven't drilled the holes and ruined your hood, don't do it!

i like those too except the stang hood is really curved in the spot that those would need to go

When you're driving down the highway and your hood flies up and comes backwards through your windshield...you will think they are necessary

trust me i wasnt going to do it for looks, but i dont want to mess up my hood. my car goes in shows and i dont want rusty pins. however, i was only going to do them as a safety precausion. i hope the hood never comes up....i have had these hood pins sitting for 3 years cause i dont want to drill my beautiful hood!

now that i hear they are going to rust i dont want to do them at all
