Interior Paint

Don't paint. Use the correct molded parts.

Painted interiors, no matter how well done, never match perfectly, scratch and do weird things when the sun hits it. Despite what a lot of people say, the interior parts are molded in the correct color plastic.

I've seen some painted interiors..and have not been impressed

+1 Painted interiors :notnice: I would just wait and look around for a console that is the correct color already.

i don't agree, painted interior can look fine as long as its PREPPED correct,if not it will not last long at all.everything must be clean 2-3 times and scuffed thoroughly.but on the flip side i do not suggest painteding that center consold because it wont match unless your doing everything, plus i would hate to hear of a black cobra consold being painted grey=sin hahaha.what year is the console out of? im looking for a black console out of a cobra like 01,03,04

It's hard to go from dark to light anyway.

Any scratches or chips will show the darker color.

I have yet to see a painted interior hold up to daily driving use no matter how good the prep job is.
