Katie is working that day, so I am home watching Christopher. When he gets a little older, I can bring him with me, just not yet.
That's alright, if you could have gone I could have picked you up at the gray exit. Just got done detailing the whole car looks pretty good for the most part. Got the Fuel Pressure gauge put on and discovered why the car ran a 13.7 @ 106 after all the new mods. Damn fuel pressure pegged the gauge it was so high it wouldn't even register. I put it back down to 40PSI so it should be much better now. Makes me wonder just how much power it was lacking due to being so damn rich.
Not sure on how early you guys plan on getting to the track but if anyone wants to meet up at the Kennebunkport rest top at 7:15 I'll be there then. If not I'll catch up w/ you once your there. I want to get there when the gates open at 8:00 so I can do any last min details on the car then just watch racing and look at the other cars the rest of the day.
I just thought about the fact we could have hooked up a fuel pressure gauge I have in the garage. We could have done that while you were here. Its the gauge I had hooked up to the fuel rail a couple of years ago. Wished I had thought of it then.
Hope you set it to 40 with the vacuum line disconnected.

Your Car is fast Larry w/ out a doubt but your the only one left I have to compete against that is in the same relative ball park. Realistically your car will run 11's w/ better traction. Id love to get into the 11's but I wont w/ out some suspension work and I need to dig further into the 12's before I can get there anyway. I have my longer wheel studs on the way so all that is left is to get them put in and get the tune done and see how much more I need to work on after that. Keeping it all on the motor though.
I'd like to hit the 11's but I need traction. Street tires aren't cutting it but those 255s got me to 12.1 Maybe if I was a better driver and dumped some weight out of the car, I could possibly do it.
Told my wife I need new brakes for the car so that will prime her for the bill in the future. Not that she sees my credit card bill but does see the savings account shrink. On another financial note my wife will probably be out of a job today. Barely anything left for inventory in the store. They were thinking it was going to close up last night but that didn't happen.
I'll be at Epping tomorrow with the stang. Haven't washed all the dead bugs off the front yet. I did change the oil and antifreeze today.

Thats a lot of cash! The engine alone is quite a bit of money. Love the mini tubs. Love the work that he has done. It going to look fantastic if he reupholsters and mods the rear seat to fit. That takes way more guts than I have.
