Maybe it's because GM cars are made in Canada?
:rlaugh: Sad but true huh?

Did you see today where Gibbs racing is in deep doggie doo-doo? Seems both of their National cars were caught at post race inspection with magnets under the accelerator. Had something to do with how much HP the cars would report putting down when run on a chassis dyno. Fit has hit the shan I believe...

notice there's no mention of any checks on the cup cars..................

Yeah that was :bs:

I feel asleep but caught the highlights this morning. Its not like Edwards bumped him w/ 1 lap left, there were 34 left he had plenty of time to try and pass him or even bump him back out of the way but to do it after the race is just childish. I'm officially on the K.Bush hater bandwangon now. I like Edwards, him and Stewart are the drivers I watch the most.

First off I am a Rousch Racing fand ahope Edwards wins the championship. BUT Busch got screwed by NASCAR Saturday. I was at Bristol and saw the domination Busch put on. He would get a lead of about a quarter track on Edwards and then NASCAR would throw a phantom debris caution which all but one where BS. It was bordering on obscene the last 30 laps.

It took Busch 3-5 laps to get his tires warmed up after each caution and then he would just pull away from Edwards and Gordon. Edwards just took advantage of the situation placed in his lap and tried to spin him out in a turn which is a definite no-no. Im was kinda torn with the win, I was happy a Ford won but it was defiantly a dirty win.

I could have sworn that ESPN zoomed in on every piece of debris on the track

and seriously, it's Bristol... every car out there was beat up. If any track is going to have debris on it, it's that place

Then how come there werent like 5 or 6 cautions for debris in the nationwide race the last 30 laps? There were just as many cars, just as much banging, but a total of about 5 cautions all race and they were for actual wrecks.

I am not buying it, I would be willing to wager if that was one of the Hendrick boys running 1st and Busch chasing they wouldnt have thrown those cautions.

so, you don't think there's any bias towards JGR this season? Look at what the shrub has done. Can any one car seriously, consistently start in the back and run to the front every time?

NASCAR want's yota to win and win big. Yota has a lot of money tied up into this series. I'm sure the France family is well paid to allow this travesty to happen :notnice:

I didn't get to see the whole race since I had to get up early for work but I watched the replay. Carl's bump on Kyle was Bristol. It happens every race. He also pointed out in the post race that he thought about whether Busch would have done the same thing if the roles were reversed...I hollered HELL YEA at my computer screen. We all know he would have done it.

No I really dont think NASCAR is doing any favors for JGR or Toyota. Just look at how they are taking away power to their cars, look at how they hammered them for the magnets.

Plus since the day Stewart arrived on the NASCAR scene he has been a thorn in the side of the NASCAR brass and they would not do anything to give him an edge. The same can be said for both Busch brothers. Its quite obvious the fans hate Kyle Busch and I dont particularly like him either, but I am getting to like him more because its funny people whine when someone who is at this point clearly better than everyone else is cocky about it. Jordan, Bird, Montana, Elway, Brady, etc were all at the top and just as cocky if not more.

If Busch can pull out this championship it could be the best season ever by a driver. He has lead the most laps in the nationwide and cup series, he was the best car in both races at Bristol but ran out of laps to come back in the nationwide and got hosed in the cup race.
