I was just going off the Fox, not that abomination that Ford made in the 70's, called the Mustang II.

I agree whole-heartedly. No option for a V8 in '74. I mean come on. Seriously Ford?

Wow, I didn't know this; the '74 Mustang almost tripled sales over '73, even without the V8, and was named Motor Trend's Car of the Year. Weird.

I never liked the Mustang II,but,if Ford hadn't built it,I do wonder if the Fox Stang ever would have happened.I can remember when the Ford Probe was originally meant to be the "new" Stang before they kept the Fox Stang in production.
