Should I get a 75mm BBK TB for $60

Honestly if you got the cash, thats really cheap. Gears would be better but 60 bucks really isn't that much. Your gonna end up wanting to to the TB and Plenum sometime in the future anyways, so why not take that deal now:shrug:

$60 dollars its a steal. Buy it. You might gain 2-3 RWHP if that but what you will really feel is the throttle response. Like winters98GT said the stock is fine. The restrictive part on our cars is the heads. But every little thing counts!

:stupid::rlaugh:, Thats another good point. Save as much as you can for the "good" mods. Gears are an awesome mod. If you just have the spare 60 bones, than go for it, but not if its you last little bit of cash:nice:

Sorry to hi-jack but how much if any at all does the bigger throttle body effect mileage?

None. Under normal driving conditions, it won’t affect fuel economy what so ever. The only thing that's going to screw with your mileage is an overzealous desire to put your right foot into all the time because you’ve fooled yourself into thinking a throttle body mod alone has made any real power difference.

Ive got the money to get my gears installed, but if I bought this then i'd have to wait a few weeks till I save the $60 back up. Im just waiting for my install kit to get here..

Again...if it's going to take you a "few weeks" to save up $60, then you really shouldn't be spending any of your money right now. How old are you exactly? You sound like an 18-year-old with a part time job?

Put it this way....take whatever you think you'll need to spend on your car, then wait until you've got at least double that before doing so. You're not leaving yourself any sort of backing for incidentals or unforeseen circumstances. I’ve seen it happen dozens of times.....hell, I’ve even had it happen to myself. If you can’t have at least a $500 safety net in your account at all times, then you should really be holding off. Spending it like its burning a hole in your pocket is going to come back and bite you on the ass one day. And to be honest, you’ll not feel like you’re getting your moneys worth dong one mod here and one mod there. Wait till you can afford to do 2, or 3 or 4 of them at once and actually feel like you’ve accomplished something. It’ll be much more satisfying to you than just one mod at a time.

I agree with GB.
Even at $60 I feel you are wasting your money at this point. Now if you were FI then I would get it in a heartbeat. I picked up 11 solid RWHP from my accufab unit on my blown application, but even at that I had to retune and that costed me out my ass.
You will love gears ten times more at this point than the TB...IMHO

Only part of this I would change would be to have a $1000 safety net as that is what I keep. Think about it this way...had you waited on the pulleys and the TB and gears at the same time, you would feel like it was a totally different car probably. I have always felt that doing more than one mod at a time was the best way to go as you feel the biggest difference from one set of mods to another.
