i have oil leaking from the back of my motor only when driving tho, there is no spots in the driveway, i have the rear main replaced, and was told the pan gasket was leaking also. but wouldn't it leak in the drive way if it was the pan? also when i got WOT i get a burning smell kinda like the clutch but it doesn't slip at all so i dont get it?

It could still be your oil pan. It can leak high enough up where it only leaked when you are driving it. More likely it's a valve cover. The valve covers leak frequently.

Okay, I'll ask the obvious question If it's only leaking when your driving how do you know that?

how do i no what?

Leaking. You stated that there are no signs of it leaking while parked (no drips or puddles) then how do you know it's leaking while driving. What exactly are you looking at while driving that tells you it's leaking oil. Is it just a smell. I've never encountered an oil leak that didn't leave a drop or more oil when parked.

becuase there is oil leaking off the back off my motor, but it dosnt leave puddles in the driveway. I cleaned it and let it sit and there was no oil the next day, drove it for 10 min and checked again and there was oil.. :nice:

it may also be your pcv system. if it doesn't successfully relieve the crankcase pressure, oil may be pushed out the rear main.

mine had a kink in the vacuum tube from the pcv valve to the intake and i was leaking oil too. after the kink was fixed, no more oil leaks, at least for now

I recently replaced my oil pan gasket because it would leak when driving. I had oil all over my starter and looked for the leak for a long time. I would lift it on jackstands as soon as I would get home because thats when I noticed the leak and tried to trace it to something. If your gasket is sticking out like mine was, its your gasket. And the smell is probably oil splashing on your hot exhaust like mine did.
