i like pinks, what i dont like is rich christensen's lack of car knowledge or knowledge in general...he has the most popular drag racing show there is and his comments sometimes just kill me...
the wheelies were badass mf'ers though. i dont know how he saved the 2nd one, looked like he wasn't even straight in the air

cant say I like pinks without Nate and the new commentator guy is god awlful

Nate and his brother have a new show with ORSCA i think, and that new guy proved to me that there is someone thats a bigger tool than Rich on this planet... which is really saying something.

Theres also rumors going around that people werent paid for winning and a couple guys on the speed forums that never recieved thier toolbox. Sounds like the show may be in a little downward spiral. just google pinks all out toolbox

I give christensen credit for fronting the original pinks with his own dime, and the show has brought drag racing(besides the NHRA) into the spotlight, but without guys like Ken Herring, Charles, Bossone, and the Pritchett brothers the show would have been junk. and when they started doing the 10.50 BS i stopped watching the original pinks... Lying/sandbagging is part of street racing

LOL.I thought the same thing about this Willie B' guy, he is a fully loaded tool box himself :rlaugh:. They kinda made the show tacky with this half wit but I still like the action and the cars. atleast with Nate, Charles and Ken you had a more technical crew that knew what they where doing. I agree if the show is going to last they need to get away from the corny factor and keep it real, Rich he just needs to shut up and drop his arms ( and count all his money :D ).

the best thing rich ever did was drop a crotch rocket... the end

+1 I HATE Rich Christensen, the guy doesn't know his ass from his elbow when it comes to drag racing. I hate his roided out biceps and how he blindly cheers on MOPARs just because his brother likes them. If his shirts were any tighter the show would be completely unwatchable. This 4 lane drag thing, though cool, looks like a disaster waiting to happen. Way too many cars get out of the groove or get squirrely out of the hole to have 4 cars going down the strip at once. BAD idea, in my opinion.

not only that but rich dosent know his ass from his elbow when it comes to his ass from his elbow...

and the track is basically 2 dragstrips with a barrier in between them, so a 4 car wreck is pretty unlikely. to me its a cool concept. would like to see funny cars 4 at a time :nice:

It will be intense drag racing :nice:

Oh yeah. John Force, Ron Capps, Cruz & Tony Pedregon in a 4 way drag; :hail2:.

Bah ... screw the toolbox. The winner(s) should be allowed to kick Rich Christiansen in the beanbag until he pukes up his marbles. THAT would make the show worth watching again!

I stopped watching the show BECAUSE of the lying and sandbagging - I don't care if that's what "real" street racing is about, it doesn't make for an entertaining show, IMO. Just show the freakin' cars lining up and tearing down the track, already. I got so sick of listening to dipsticks with a Honda whining that they needed a 15-car-length lead and demanding that the dude with a Mustang unhook his bottle before they would race. The negotiating process just made it where I couldn't justify sitting through through 20 mintues of bitching and whining just to watch maybe 1 minute (total) of actual racing ... and that 1 minute of racing gets replayed over and over just to fill up more time, just like those "Scariest Police Video" type shows. :notnice:

The lying and sandbagging crap was on PINKS this is PINKS - Allout which is a different format. It's all out racing by ellimination last one standing get's 10grand and tool box there are no negotations..just run it. Rich aside the racing is cool and the cars are sweet :nice:.

I went to the 'Arm-drop Live' event at Toronto Motorsports Park which is basically an untelevised Pinks All-Out. Rich was there flagging the cars and he's less of a douche in person, he even called himself a douche for dropping that bike which I thought was pretty funny cuz everyone was thinking it. He can still be annoying though, but seeing him in person made him look like less of a tool.

As for the 4-lane drag racing, it hasn't been done in a long time to my knowledge but it sure as hell isn't the first time it's been done. I've seen pics from the late 50's/early 60's of 4-lane drag racing and it was probably around even before that. Still really cool to watch 4 guys duke it out at once.
