Hi guys, I have noticed over months, that I have been apart of the forum, that some your cars stand out, more so than your average street car, what would your action and reaction be if someone tried to car-jack you. This does happens, it could possibly happen to one you, I'm just curious of what some of you are prepared to do when approached by a bad guy who wants you shiny stang. All responses are appreciated! Lets just say hes armed and you are w/or w/out a loved one!:flag: :hail2:Stangnet:hail2:;)

Well unless he/she had a gun or knife i would probably defend myself and my car until either i beat said robber into submission or i got beat into unconsciousness.

If he had a gun i dont know what id do, i guess id have to give the car over to him...i don't like imagining that scenario though...

I would find a way to beat his ass down, then key my name backwards in his head, so the next time he looks in the mirror, he sees my name and thinks twice.

and i keep a led pipe thats wrapped with wood in my car (these pipes are used to check the tires on big rigs, if anyone knows what they look like, its like a mini bat), driver seat, next to the center consel, stuffed underneath so no one can see it.

last but least, if i know im going to a crap neighborhood, i avoid taking my car. although i would love to kick someone's ass, personally, its just not worth it, i think i have too much going on to lose.

i ALWAYS have a gun on me. each of my vehicles has a gun hidden inside somewhere that stays with that car at all times and i keep either my LCP .380 or my XD .40 on me whenever i am out. so needless to say the guy would have a bad day if he tried.

If someone sticks a gun in my face and demands my car, dude can have it. Seriously, it's not even an expensive car. Why would I try to make sure someone died over it? It's insured, and if I pay attention, perhaps it's this theft that will get the guy put away. Give them enough rope to hang themselves, I'd say.

If a guy's got a gun and he wants to steal my car, I'm not sure why I'd get in a fight. If I've got a gun but he's got his out first, I don't see the point in getting into a firefight. He got the jump on me, my bad. I'm not going to make things better by making him think his own life is in danger. We can assume the guy's already on the edge.

It's not the kind of thing where you can say accurately how you'd react ahead of time, but I don't think it makes sense to get all Rambo over a $10K car you can find on any car lot in any city in America. If a guy sticks a gun in your nose, the best way to show you can handle the situation is by not getting shot. That's just my opinion, though.

I would flip them off as they drove away and then call the police followed by my insurance agent.

Unless you know what you are doing most likely the gun will be taken away and used on you. Of course that could never ever happen to any of the bad asses here

yeah because your average car jacking junkie is a expert in disarming people:rolleyes:

The bottom line with this situation is that NOBODY knows exactly how they will react when/if something like this were to happen to them until it actually does. Unless you actually have some kind of training that is. Most people aren't prepared for the shear escalation of violence that occurs during a car jacking. On top of that a junkie with a itchy trigger finger would/could shoot you before you even raise your gun to shoot. You have to keep in mind that people like that don't have anything to loose as far as they are concerned.

With an exception of a couple of members you guys need to start excercising your 2nd amendment rights, I've seen some cars on here that would make some of the most wealthiest people think twice about there vehicles, lets just face it, your car draws attention whether you like it or not, goes with the territory. Just so you know, more often then not, I have two .45's on me, one next to me and one on me. You will have to go through some less than desired areas, unless you're just sheltered and know where you are going at all times. Some people like taking things, its a part of life, I just dread the day that I read a post that someone was car jacked or was shot and killed over there beloved vehicle. I look at YouTube and these "thugs" always talkin' about car jackin' someone. Anyway you guys keep your ears and eyes open and realise that your car draws a lot of attention whether you like or not:mad:!!! :hail2:Stangnet:hail2:

see post 11.

too many want to be tough guys.

You give the guy your keys. My car is not worth taking risking my life. I have family that I love and loves me, and a fantastic, beautiful girl that counts on me. A stupid car is not worth it.

The one thing I enjoy more than cars is shooting/hunting. I shoot skeet/sporting clays/ and a few of my rifles weekly, if not a couple times a week at numerous ranges in Houston. I have no problem taking a person's life if the reason is a good one. But with a gun already pointed at me, it's a no brainer. Leave whatever vehicle I am driving.

They would not be able to drive my car anyways... Its challenging. I have only ever seen one person just get in it and drive. Everyone else needing serious coaching to be able to drive it. And yeah winters I agree with your post 100%.

All this thread shows is whether the person has a family.

It's not about being a tough guy, it's about being sick of people stealing ****, it's about people not being old school and stick up for what is right. Wtf I am 21 and I can barely find people that feel same way as I do. This country is going to ****!!!

I agree its not about the car (even though i do love my car) its about sticking up for yourself and fighting for yourself. The reason so many thieves get away is because people are too easy. Im sick of people stealing because theyre to lazy to get off their A** and work for what they want. If they had a gun idk what i would do most likely hand over the keys if they had like a knife or something less well id probably give them a hard time in stealing my car.

Are you serious? I can't possibly think what could be so diificult that a carjacker couldn't drive it away from you.
