I installed a ZEX kit on my car this weekend. As of right now, I am spraying a 100 shot. To me, honestly, it does not seem to be hitting that hard. I had a 100 shot on another mustang I used to own, and it hit WAY harder than this one. It is a full bottle, NGK TR6 spark plugs gapped at .035. The timing is 2 degreese retarded right now. The bottle pressure was at 1000psi. Here are the only things I can think of off hand that might be putting a burden on this:
Even after the plug change, it still has a low RPM stumble when you are barely on the gas. Which makes me think the COP's are going bad. This could possible be hurting it.
It has the stock 3.23 gears in it. Isnt going to really give it that throw back feel like a 3.73 or 4.10 would. (the old car of mine I referred to had 3.73's)
Still running a stock clutch with 130+ miles. Slips when I powershift on motor, maybe it's slipping a little????
Dont get me wrong, you can for sure tell when I spray it. It just doesnt hit like a 100 shot should IMO.
