I posted about a month ago about possibly buying a 98 GT vert. Well I bought it and I finally got around to taking some pictures of it. They are terrible pictures, but hopefully I will get some better ones soon. This is my 11th mustang, first 4.6 GT. I've had a bunch of 5.0 foxbodies, a 96 cobra, and a 97 cobra and so far I can say I honestly like this car the best. It has the following mods are in my sig.

Basically I plan on keeping the car very streetable. I don't plan on ever really racing it. Right now it's my daily driver, but I want to get some type of cheap daily driver in the near future. As far as future mods go, it definitely NEEDS to be lowered. I plan on doing the suspension and gears and then maybe a few other aesthetic mods like a chin spoiler and hood.

The last pic is of my 90 GT vert that I've owned for 9 years. I don't really want to sell it but I think I'm going to have to after the winter. I really don't have the room for it now and I can use the money from selling to put towards saving for a house.

I just added the S281 spoiler yesterday. It's hard to tell in the pics, but it's actually made out of carbon fiber. It was cheaper than unpainted ones so I figured if I didn't like the carbon fiber look, I could always paint it. I think I'll leave it as is.

Nice car, I think the pre-New Edge SN-95 style is the most aggressive looking Mustang ever, especially when lowered. However, you say you like this car better than the 96 and 97 Cobras you've owned? Why?

Thanks for the compliments!

Well for starters i love convertibles and the cobras were hard tops. The first one I had was the 97. It was pacific green (I love that color on a Cobra). It was stock except for exhaust. The 96 was black and had 373s, exhaust, and was lowered. I just felt like for the type of driving I do, the GT has more low end grunt. The cobras screamed and pulled much better when at WOT obviously but I rarely drive my cars like that. Honestly the major reason why is also probably because the GT is very clean and the cobras I had were nice, but each had their own minor issues. Not to mention I would feel kind of guilty about modifying a cobra

SteedaGT9150, $4,500 and it's yours :D

Well I guess my luck with cars continues over to this one. Something from the valve train broke last night. It's making a really loud tapping sound. Sounds like its coming from the top of the passenger side cylinder head...
