It's not a location thing, it's a gay/straight thing. Referring to a girl you aren't bending over as your "bestie" on a Mustang website, then bitching about how she sold your V6 mustang out from under you puts your sexuality in question and opens you up for the fiery onslaught you're now receiving. Now all you can do is grit your teeth and bite your pillow like you always have.
Jesus this is a hateful place. So what if he is gay? Doesn't really matter if he's not trying to tug on your junk.
Yeah V6 Mustang's are very unexciting (unless we're talking 2011), but if he wants to add one to his garage, does it matter? He already owns a V8 Mustang so it's not like he's trying to be Captain Badass by entering Mustang ownership with a V6 model.
As far as friends that are girls... I gave that up a long time ago. I found it hard to keep it strictly platonic and then would get sick and tired of hearing about their new interests.

Yea, having girls for friends is good at times but usually it is the WORST thing to do bro. It always ends badly tho because one way or another someone will screw things up (literally). At least that's what happened with all my female besties, haha!!
I don't know why people hate on the V6s tho. I like all Mustangs. I have an 03 modded GT and a 96 modded Mark VIII. I don't need another V8, a V6 stang as a DD would have been perfect for me...especially one in perfect condition for $500. I'm a fan of all Mustangs, not just V8s...

It some ways it seems like your friend is the true victum here. Seems like she got a very poor trade value for the car (unless it's high mileage or has rust or other issues).
On the other hand, if she had called and said "I'm buying a new car this afternoon, if you want my Mustang, I need to $$ now", do you have the "cash"? Were you prepared to buy on perhaps very short notice?

No kidding, I don't even have a job after getting out of the military and I would have dropped $500 on a V6 in decent condition. I'd have to get a plate that says IHAVE V8 TO so I wouldn't fit into that 18-24 year old girl demographic
As far as women being friends, yeah, rarely does it ever work. I had an ex, cool as ****, still talk here and there, talked alot while I was in Iraq, and became, for choice of a less profane term, "friends with benefits" when I got home. Just had a real good time in general. Ran into her last night and I was like

And yea, she did hurt my feelings with the whole deal. Perhaps seeing a dealership take that kind of deal is what got me. They're prolly gonna advertise it for $2500 (yes I said prolly).
