High RPM roller lifters

Sorry, but I could only read a few of the posts before I started ignoring the trash talking....

IMHO, anything over 6,500 requires a nice set of lifters. I run a set of Crower.

My shift point is at 8,200.

Those look VERY similar to the morel link bar lifters, and they are a great price so i will be going with those.

I'm running stock lifters up to 7200rpm, no issues. Its a A4 block Zero balanced. The engine builder I used was very specific about the oil pump to support the lifters.

I dont doubt stock lifters can do the RPM's but the heads, springs, and cam all take effect in how high you can rev it.

AFR heads, Shaft mounted rockers with hardened push rods, guide plates, titanium retainers, springs for the application.

Yeah but whats the seat pressure on the springs, I highly doubt my application would allow me to run stock lifters if I am already experiencing float.

I actually bought a set used on eBay for something like $300. The guy offered a 7 day 100% guarantee, and they are 100% rebuildable, so I wasn't worried. They either were just rebuilt, or they only had like one run on them. The only thing you really need to worry about is if the rollers roll freely. I've heard with some high lift cams (like .700") that it can ruin the needle bearings.

I'm running a PBM race valve train kit. The springs are something like 180# seated. That might be too much for your application tho. You can and can't have too much valve pressure. If you go to small you get valve float, if you go too big you not only loose horsepower, but you don't want the pushrod to deflect. That's when stuff starts to break.

yup, the Morels apparently are who makes lifters for alot of companies. And Ed hooked me up with them for $345 shipped
