On my newly acquired vert the back glass has come apart from the top. It has a gap between the top of the glass and the canvas. There's like a shiny strip that looks like where it was glued to the glass.

My question is, are there any temporary/permanent fixes that I can do myself to fix this.

If it must be fixed by a top specialist I'm ok with that, I just need a temporary solution so it doesn't rain inside the car.

Nothing really works well and there is nothing that a top specialist can recommend when I asked. However, having said that, I had a problem at the bottom edge and I've been successful sealing it with something called Amazing Goop. It's an automotive contact adhesive and sealant.

Just get ready to replace the whole back window and cloth part on the back window. If you was in Illinois ill sell you a brand new in box one i got for my old GT but never got to use it.

I tried everything from hot glue to window sealant.. everything was temporary and worked for alittle.. some less than others.
