Its brand new its never been fired. It was a pvt sale. I have not checked out a slide fire stock. I have the upgrades already picked out and a few things ordered through Amazon. Getting a quad free floating rail system, nice gun case that holds extra mags, forgrip, and a cleaning kit. Also have a red dot and B.A.D lever and a more comfortable pistol grip to order later on. Grabbed a few box's of 5.56 off from cabelas online tonight.

don't go crazy and mount a bunch of useless crap to it. Its like ricing out a car to the point that it is ridiculous.
Hope you get some of those rubbery quad rail covers so its more comfortable in your hand. I have them on mine and it feels better than trying to hold on to the quad rail with a bare hand.
Just do a search on youtube for the slide fire. Its cool and legal.

How is adding a red dot and better grips going crazy with useless crap? I want it to feel right when shooting it, the stock grips are not much to write home about. Cant mount a light or a grip or anything on the front w/ out a rail system to begin with which is why I got one. The rail system I bought has all the covers included.

A lot of the things I have bought from the start has been supplies, needed a gun cleaning kit, want to get a bore snake, dont have any hearing protection for shooting exc exc... As far as whats actually going to be on the gun for add on's its not going to be a crazy seal team six modded out gun. But I dont want a plain out of the box AR either.

wow larry's alive :) Bryan how big was your burrito $hit? What did you get for goodies larry, and yeah this layout is not as good mike.

Finally pulled the trigger and got an AR-15. Had been wanting one for awhile and figured if I dont get one now despite the hugely inflated prices I may not be able to at all not to far down the road. I'll be picking it up in NH on Thurs.
Power slot rotors, hawk pads, aluminum upper and lower arms, rear. K.Brown subframe.

According to the news there was a long line of people trying to get into the show.
Yeah those are nice water tight containers to put stuff. I have a 50 cal and 5.56. Also picked up a 40mm can (I think) for about $17 at KTP this summer. You can stuff a lot in one of those big cans. I would like to pick a few other but it would have to be local. Having those shipped isn't cheap.
Ever check out Tannerite? Cool stuff and I can testify that a 1/2 lb is loud. You can make your own just look on Youtube.
We were talking at work about the shooting and one of the guys pointed out that no assault style rifle was used. Here is a link to NBC that says the same. http://www.ijreview.com/2013/01/30208-nbc-admits-no-assault-rifle-used-in-newtown-shooting/

nice. I mean the accessory not the nut freezing.
Just ordered a forged stripped lower. Who knows how long it will be back ordered but I did get the order through. Some people on AR-15.com posted that they ordered at the beginning of the month and the lower was just shipped even though they also had it on back order status. Who knows but its worth a try.
For the tannerite you can get it directly from them like I did or you can search Ebay and Amazon. Did you see any of the vids where they set off 50lbs?

No I didnt I'll have to youtube it. I'm going to have to give Windham Weaponry a call and see if they will install that rail. I dont have any of the tools to do it. It is not a two piece its a free floating rail so the front site mount and barrel nut needs to come off.

I bought another 30 round steel one from another site a few days ago. I'm going to take my upper into work and one of the guys is going to take it over to the armory and install the rail there. Wont cost me anything. Its not hard, I just dont have any of the tools to do it .
