Guys I need your experience....

I am thinking of using a bulletproof Autolite 4100 on my motor. I know the 1.12 venturis were typically used on the big blocks and hi-po 289's whereas the 1.08's were used on the smaller displacements. Ratings are supposed to be 480 and 600cfm.

Do you think a 1.12 would run well on my motor:

Converted 1987 5.0HO roller block - stock bore/pistons
Weiand Stealth manifold
ProComp alum heads
Comp Cam 281HR
5 spd trans
3:55 rear
Street car

Or do you think the 1.08 would run better?

Thx.

The 4100 on my 289 is perfect, but it's the smaller one.
It feeds a mild cam with stock heads but my crank is a 302 and I'm .060 over so I'm roughly 310 CID. I set my secondaries to work a bit more mechanically and when I hit it hard it can break traction when they kick in. I love these carbs, it feels as crisp as my last fox with efi.
