Glad to see you moving in the right direction and getting some miles on the car! I can't wait to see this again now that it is all buttoned up! Well done as usual!!
You going to be out at the American Muscle Show in a few weeks? I'll be there and I know @TOOLOW91 was planning on going as well

Thanks Nick! I am registered for the show, so I definitely plan on going. There is a group cruising from the Holiday Inn in Morgantown, so I may ride in with them. As long as the car behaves, I'm driving the whole way, otherwise I'll trailer it to the show. I'll get in touch with you to see where you plan on setting up for the show.

I'll have my 2015 in the Vortech booth, where that is exactly going to be located is to be determined
Either way, I'll be there and we'll have to meet up somewhere in the sea of pandemonium, lol. Last I heard they were expecting 10,000 cars? or maybe people? time will tell

New wastegate spring is here. If I'm not feeling too lazy today, I'll put it in. The combo of my existing spring and the new spring should make the gate open in the 13 psi range. I'm interested to see how she behaves afterwards!

I took it for a very brief drive tonight. I'm getting pretty low on fuel and I didn't want to starve the fuel pump.

I just goosed the throttle to 3000rpm a few times in 3rd gear. The first was a half throttle blip to maybe 2500rpm. 7psi. Really? The next was 60-70% throttle at best. The boost gauge saw an 11.5 psi peak before I even knew what happened. This was on the gate only, no boost controller. Traction broke incredibly fast. It's a completely different car now, no joke. The blow off valve is much louder and it has torque that made it seem like a dog on the small spring alone. It's almost like I turned on the "low throttle torque" switch. When I get more fuel in the car I'll datalog some highway pulls to see the boost curve. She's a handful for sure now!

Heavier spring= much power. That plus a Summit sticker pack, and I think my next motor might just keep up with yours..lol. Race, as much as you've been through with this one, I'm happy she is coming around.
