Unfortunately not...
Took it back to the shop that built it.
It’s been sitting under it cover in the garage since May, and, 2 weeks ago (it's time to get it out for the winter... LOL!) I noticed coolant leaking from underneath it.
The frigging radiator sprung a leak while it was just sitting!
Anyways, changing a radiator is pretty easy, but… I have a MK8 electric fan on it with custom sheet metal shroud, and the wiring from the multi speed fan controller looked scary… Wiring and I do not get along. Called the shop, they were able to work me in and lend their trailer (they are an hour away) so off it went.
The frustrating bit is, that its a brand new Ron Davis circle track radiator... well, guess it's 3 years old, but hasn't seen 2500 miles yet. I figured it would be plenty robust. My last Ron Davis lasted 15 years before I cracked the block, and pressurized the cooling system so hard it expanded the rad.
