    Well now I have to ask: How would I benefit from using a Cobra/FRPP oil pump and pick-up instead of the GT pump and tube since I'm building a 2-valve longblock. Will the extra volume of the Cobra/FRPP oil-pump be better for my high HP/high RPM application?

    Oooh. :( I was told I'd need a 4-valve timing cover. Is the width of the deck on a 4-valve head wider than the deck of 2-valve head? I can see the physical differences in the two timing covers, but I was just going on the info I was given.

    Shops local to me charge around 175.00 for Bore/Hone, if the block needs decked its 150.00, line-hone 150.00... Just to give you an idea of how much might have been spent on that block.
