    Coolant in spark plug holes

Now, now... :D Not everything on ebay is tainted. I shouldn't take for granted that everyone will shop the same way I do when I suggest ebay. I actually bought my NPI intake with aluminum crossover, used from an individual guy like ourselves that I had communication with. Ebay can be a great...

Buying Teksid this week... need crucial ?'s answered b4 purchasing

I'm not arguing, just voicing a thought - It would seem odd that for only one random year of Cobra produciton the block was stronger than any other. And how would Ford manage to put this block in only the 1998 run? Wouldn't there be some record of specific casting numbers for this exclusive...

NPI truck head same as GT?

Yeah TGJ was giving me some info on the SVO head in another thread. I've beat the search to death about the Non-PI heads and he seems to have alot of good info from experience... and Gearbanger also boasts about Renegade's Non-PI's so I'm planning on sending Mr. Jim some castings to see what...

NPI truck head same as GT?

You thought wrong, hehe :D I'm not an authority on Non-PI's vs PI's, but if you do a quick search you will quickly find that the Non-PI's have greater potential than the PI's... so far anyways.

NPI truck head same as GT?

Nope. Ported Non-PI's. I need to get in touch with this Jim of Renegade Racing as soon as I find a set of castings.

Thanks, Randy. I thought all non-PI heads were Romeo's...?

NPI truck head same as GT?

I just want to know if heads from a 98 F-150 4.6 are the same as the 96-98 GT heads...? Intake/exhaust runners, combustion chambers all the same just like the PI's between truck and Mustang?

    Non-PI 2-valve SVO Heads?

I've searched but found little info about these heads that people claim to be the ultimate performing non-PI head. > How are they different from a non-PI head? > What makes them superior? > What are the flow numbers on them? > Are they better for NA combo's or good for boost? > Do they...

Buying Teksid this week... need crucial ?'s answered b4 purchasing

Oldy I went ahead and bought the '01 Teksid. I read alot about people saying that the 98 Cobra block was the strongest, but that was also before it was more widely known that the 01 Cobra's even got Teksids at all (I'm guessing). I don't know what makes the 98 better than the others but I...

    Coolant in spark plug holes

Had to replace my intake... The coolant crossover cracked on my 96 GT and it was clearly noticeable by the spray pattern on the hood-liner, and the white residue left behind by the vaporized anti-freeze. Look for those two signs... if you can't find a visible origin of the coolant then start...

Any 4-valve timing cover fits any Cobra block?

I just don't know. I know thats the point of the Ford "Modular" motor, but will any of the Mark VIII/96-01 Cobra timing covers bolt to any Cobra block? Are they all the same? Any particular 4-valve timing cover that is an odd-ball to look out for? (excluding 03+ Cobra timing cover of course)...

SVO Side Exhaust skirts still being made/sold...

for 94-98 SN95's. Sort-of. On Ebay, if you do a search for Mustang Side exhaust you'll find an auction that the seller (claymodeller) keeps listing for fiberglass side exhaust skirts. I was curious so I emailed the seller about where these side skirts are coming from... this is the response I...

    MPH Customer Service?

Wow! Wow... Man why can't there be more places and people like at MPH? You know if there were shop owners and mechanics that were as customer service oriented as they seem to be, the performance/tuning world would explode all over the U.S. I think the typical sub-par social skills of...

    MPH Customer Service?

Aaah, good to know that about the KB. Thanks! The other questions that I had for them was about helping me select a good cam... I had read that they don't give out their cam specs, which I can respect, but I thought if I told them some specifics about my setup and my goals that they would be...

    MPH Customer Service?

Oh, I already know that KB isn't johnny-on-the-spot with email, but that issue isn't a problem with MPH. I wanted to ask MPH the questions that KB isn't answering so I needed to find out how to get their attention since I hadn't had good luck with emailing them in the past. A couple of times I...

    MPH Customer Service?

MPH Forum I've registered and have started searching through the posts for research. I would have never even known they had their own forum. I'll spend some time searching and then I'll give Rhonda a call. :nice:

    MPH Customer Service?

Thanks for the input They have forums? Wow, I'll have to check that out for sure. I wish more companies had forums...that's unusual but would be pretty helpful. I didn't want to bother them, but I guess I'll go ahead and call if thats the best way to get ahold of a live person. Thanks for...

    MPH Customer Service?

Members on this board make it seem as though Modular Powerhouse has good communication and customer service, yet every email I have sent, whether it be technical questions about their product or being unable to order something from them because of a website issue, goes unanswered. I thought...
