    Strange Issue...

If i'm in 1st or 2nd gear and go WOT the car bogs down (doesn't backfire, doesn't sound any different than it should), yet there is no power gain AT ALL from 2.5k RPM-4k RPM.     Its that time, 156k, she has to be getting close.....Where is everyone getting work done these days? I'm looking to get motor/tranny/rear end all rebuilt/upgraded. Any ideas :shrug:

    Its that time.... she's about ready for a rebuild, 156k on the ticker. I'm looking to spend about 5k-7k on a rebuild, labor included (i'm neither technically inclined nor have the tools to do such a project).
