    When checking for codes i found that my neutral gear switch in the T5 is not working (had to hold clutch the whole time). I checked it with a meter at the pigtail and sure enough it is not closing contact regardless of shifter position. So, i wouldn't care if it only affected the code checking...

    MPG has gone up noticeably with the stock airbox. I don't think the MAF reads properly when you have it strapped straight onto the filter. Too much turbulence - could make for bad fuel calcs and bad performance/economy. I think it may have been the reason why I was getting garbage MPG in the past.

    My present ride when I bought it had an aftermarket K&N cone filter, installed just direct strapped to the mass air. I went on ebay and picked up the stock air box. Threw it in with a fresh new paper fram filter. Butt dyno picked up like 15HP. Thoughts?

    Knocking/vibration through shifter (lots of details)

    Ever get this figured out ?? I know this sounds overly obvious, but I haven't seen it mentioned yet, did you check your smog pump line ?? I had similar symptoms in the past that was just the tube going from the smog pump back to the h-pipe rattling around at certain rpm.
