    I had replaced the thermostat last week. It appears to be sealed. I can see coolant seeping from the gasket in the water pump, very slow leak. gonna have to take it all apart agart again...a.rrrrrggggghhhhh...and put a seal of ATV on the gasket this time. Hopefully that will do it.

    Besides the IAC, I also replaced the PIP on the distributor. If you run the codes, you may get a code for PIP. The PIP is also called the Stator which is the top part of the distributor. Now that I look back at my posts on Stangnet, I see where I replaced the IAC but still had stall issues...

    Hopefully I fixed it. I used a file to clean what appeared to be salt corrosion on the blade end of the connector, used contact cleaner and so far it is working fine. Driving around town today I had no problem with about 10 starts. We shall see.
