So, my Stang is down while I get new exhaust cause parts are hanging all over the ground.

Back to driving my 93 Grand Marquis for a few days. Has a crazy starter issue that started months ago.

Turn key, starter makes a click then no start. All I do is wiggle the little wire on the starter (not the big red one, the one with a blade) and the car starts up every time. It will then start again without a problem several times, maybe a few days, then go to start, I get a single click with no start. Crawl back under, wiggle the wire on the starter, and it works fine.

When I first found the root of my problem, the wire, I removed it and scrubbed the blade with a brush and sprayed with contact cleaner. It is very frustrating.

Thanks

Hopefully I fixed it. I used a file to clean what appeared to be salt corrosion on the blade end of the connector, used contact cleaner and so far it is working fine. Driving around town today I had no problem with about 10 starts. We shall see.
