    iskwezm - can you paint directly over the chrome with that or do you still need to blast it? V6muscle00 - problem is I have a speed density car, and the ONLY cold air kits I have seen are the chrome ones from BBK or MAC

    Balance assembly to 28oz or 50oz

    This car is a street car (stock ported heads, stock ported intake, 3.55 gears, etc...) so the revs will be 5,000-5,500 (6K max). I'm sure once I actually talk to Rick he'll hook me up. Thanks for everyone's input/experiences.:nice:

    I'm 100% sure if it wasn't good to balance it to 50 oz he wouldn't even do it. I was just curious if others have come to this "fork in the road", and which way they went (and why).

    I am getting a MAC cold air kit that is chrome. I have no other chrome under my hood and I am afraid it will look out of place. Is it possible to paint over the chrome? If so, what do I need to do that?
