I am getting a set of Thumpers with the upgraded valve springs. I was wondering if, based on my combo, it would be worth it to get the GT-40 valves?

LOL...sure they make the heads with bigger valves.. and then there are piston to valve issues.. shrouding issues in the chambers AND in the cylinders.. then there is this whole velocity thing.... IF you want the larger valves in the heads, sure!! How ever the stock valve size is enough to put you in the solid 12s with a 302 n/a and in the 11s n/a with a stroker.... the biggest valve I will install , unless I am beat up about it is the 1.85 and 1.55 as the valve notch in the ford pistons are cut for those... we have seen even the 1.90 valve hit the pistons..!! I dont want ya'll to have a bunch of "OMG issues" I want the suckers on the engine and you kicking BUTT!! but then that is

Just me......................................
