    Make sure he has a good ignition and good fuel system. Buy an NX wet kit, put in 50 hp jets, back his timing down a couple of degrees and it will be fine..

    Right by the connector 31 and 30 I have an extra connector and it plugs into a connector on my headlight harness its a grey color... Is that something I dont need?

    Well. All my wiring in the dash is still intact.. And my main engine harness had two plugs that both pluged into two more plugs coming from the drivers side firewall. So would mine work or could it still be a 1990 harness or something?

    On my 88 I have a Holley 750 D/P on my 302 with Ported Winsdor Jr Heads, F-303 cam and Victor Jr intake... After the car is running right it should be around the 300+ rwhp mark.. So what jets are you guys using with set ups similar to mine? Also what size accel pump cams. Squirter Size? Etc...

    The car hasnt been sprayed yet.. I have only made two passes on this motor since I put it together. Both were N/A passes and with the car being in a horrible tune. I just want to get it running good on the motor first then I will mess with trying to spray it.

    My car has a hard time turning over.. And is nearly imposible to restart after its warmed up.. Does that mean my timing is way off? I dont have a vacume line hooked up to my distributer.. So what vacume line are you talking about?

    Stock car + cobra intake = total loss of low end ??

    A friend of mine put on an Edelbrock performer intake w/ 70mm T.B & EGR, on a stock motor w/ just full exhaust, and CAI, and he said it felt like he gained more bottem end than anything. Hes still got 2.73s also.

    Ive got a friend that has a forged 331 w trick flow T/W heads, Street heat intake (ported lower), E-303 cam, and A powerdyne w/ a 13 psi pulley.. He has all that in a stock 95 Gt block. And he beats on it pretty well.

    What kinda of horspower needed for 11's?

    You could run 11s w/ 350-400 rwhp on a good set of 275 drag radials. Pulling at least 1.7 60ft and trapping over 115 mph.

    Id say it would run high 11s, even if he did have the stock cam. What carb, intake and cam does he have?
