On my 88 I have a Holley 750 D/P on my 302 with Ported Winsdor Jr Heads, F-303 cam and Victor Jr intake... After the car is running right it should be around the 300+ rwhp mark.. So what jets are you guys using with set ups similar to mine? Also what size accel pump cams. Squirter Size? Etc.... I need a starting point because my car runs real rich.. If fouls plugs and blows smoke that burns your eyes and smells real gasey...

U have to big a power valve in it. Mine did the same thing. Get a vacuum gage and test manifold vacuum. I had around 10 or 11 inches of vac. I put a 4.5 power valve in mine and no problems. Jetting I have stock sizes in it. I have good looking plugs so far light brown. I put 35 squirters in it but think I will put 31s back on it and try it again. Messing with the pump cam as I speak. Figuring it out next.

i have an edelbrock 750 on my 85 with the F-303 cam and its too big. I am going to an AED Holley 650 d/p and it will help alot, a 750 sucks too much air for that set up. Call holley and ask them they will ask for your cam specs which can be found in the Ford Racing 2005 online catalog, They will proably tell you depending on your gears that that carb is too big, and im running 410 and the 750 is to big for my set up.

I agree with Marine 2003. The 750 is to much carb for the 302. I had this argument with a friend last summer, so to put it to rest, we took my car to the track. I made two passes with the 650 I currently run and made two passes with a 750 my friend brought with. I lost 4/10ths of a second on both passes with the 750. You can jet it down some but the carb will still be moving to much air. Go with a 650.

Call Holley and ask them they will take the specs from your motor along with your gear ratio and tell you what size carb will be most efficient with your set up. Plus the intake that you have is not really for street use its for the high rpm range.

The short block is out of an 88 Mustang. I have 68 302 4V heads with 49cc chambers and 1.94 / 1.60 valve. Cam Dynamics Roller Rockers. Harden pushrods. Luntia Cam 221/232@50 .526/.530 lift with 111 lobe sepration and 106 center line. Moroso 8mm spark plug wires Cobra Intake with a 750 Double pumper. MSD 6AL Ignition. This was my set up. Everyone told me that 750DP was to big. I put a 650 DP and it choked it out. My 750 is stock out of the box.

My stock 85 GT save for Edel Performer and full exhaust, has got a S/P 750 on it, I had to rejet the mains, got sick of fouling plugs out and looking like a goddamn diesel lmao... I believe I put #69's in it, she's a tad rich at idle but she runs like a champ when you let her eat..
